awesome would love to see some pictures :) I have a hard time too I tend to like the wild rustic look but then formal gardens appeal also just not so much the work involved...I am working towards more of a sustainable type edible landscaping here........I'm not getting younger physically issues will progress so I dont want high maintenance stuff....



ohh btw does anyone know is cat grass ok for chickens?
Ikwym...Not getting younger here either. Reality keeps trying to overide my plan to stay 29! I will see what pictures I have from earlier years and post tonight or tomorrow, and then this summer will get more current ones.Right now the snow is coverying everything. Which alot of times is better looking.

with the grow lights in my greenhouse it lights up my whole raised garden area.. I have been out there gardening at 3am in the morning lol what kinds of things do you like to grow?

Fruits & Vegetables: Tomatoes, peppers of all types, kale, lettuce, mesclun, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon (although I have yet to grow a good watermelon-I try every year), squash, zucchini, green beans, asparagus, strawberries, apples, raspberries, blackberries, potatoes, green onions and I am sure I missed 5 or 10 others.

Mints: Orange, Grapefruit, Peppermint, spearmint, chocolate. Other Herbs: Lovage, parsley, Basil, nasturtium, lemon balm, lemon verbena.

Most any kind of flowers, hostas, sedum, and lots of others.
