Dixie Chicks

I've had no personal dealings with ridgeway but everything I have read in the past 10 minutes has been very, very bad. Find a reputable breeder here on BYC and order chicks. Yes. You'll probably get cockerels, but at least they're pure!

I'm just going to wait, figured if I could pick them up in our town with no shipping costs it would be worth it. I did order 15 RIR through our feed mill about eight yrs ago and they were the best laying hens I've ever saw. I read a couple different posts that said they were EE. I didn't really want araucanas anyway, just thought it was a cheap easy way to get some blue egg layers.

Ravyn, I had your and Mini's locations mixed up. duh....  thanks for your comment.

Deb, I'll figure out names and places...don't give up on me.

Is all good, hard to keep track of everyone... :D
I almost got you mixed up with JulesChicks, lol... Saw my hometown mentioned...

@JulesChicks I remember Valley Farm feed store!! Is it still downtown??

ETA: I think it's Valley Farm Supply, but all I could ever remember was Valley Farm, lol...

I have pulled my share of ivy. One year I got dedicated and kept on trying to get every runner to get rid of all of it under a row of pines. I'd wrap the vines in a loop
and loop the next until it made a decent wreath. (couple of days later I discovered there were some long posion ivy vine roots mixed in with the rest...sent me to the dermatologist
to confine that bloom on my side. :):scratching just thinking of it::) The next year I got out again to finish pulling ivy, and broke out again on my side...ah hah...thought that poison ivy too.
NOT. Shingles. So, excuse me if I pass. But if it was anything but ivy...I'd be glad to help.
