Your issues could be from Internet Explorer, or at least it could be making it worse... I use Google Chrome or Firefox cuz Internet Explorer has always acted more like a virus than a browser for me... just a thought...

Yup, Orps mature slower than a lot of breeds... English are usually slower than the American ones... most of any of the 'heavy breeds' are slow maturity, like Jersey Giants as well... my Lav Orp beefed up considerably from month 5 to 6... stay warm, Jem!

It'll be a while before I can guarantee any Lav LF's of any kind, but I'll happily send you some when I get them there...
2 of my black Am pullets just started laying and they are with my Lav Orp roo for a little while... babies will prolly be black splits, but if you want any of those I could send some soonish?? They'd be EE's...

Noooo, it's snowing! So far it's still melting as it hits the ground. I hope none of it sticks. There's hardly any snow left in the back yard, and the front is almost clear as well. The grass that's emerging almost looks like it's growing , which is weird because I think it would need a couple of degrees warmer to do that.

Sprouts turned out to be a bust again, I don't know what to do anymore. The tower might need some more drain holes.

And in bunny news, apparently we're picking up Hilma on Friday. I would want to wait a couple more weeks, but no use arguing with Karin.

Woot! Science is catching up with us wise coffee drinkers...."new research" (didn't say who sponsored the research) finds that those who drink 3 to 5 cups of coffee a day are much less likely to develop calcium deposits in arteries that leads to heart disease. So...drink up! I am.
