Pigs are good to have for overabundant gardens.
Super glue on cuts, I use liquid stich, just like super glue but is also antiseptic. I have a couple big warts on two of my big knuckles. Keep
putting off having them surgically removed. I keep them shaved down so they don't crack, but when they do it is painful and takes a week or more to heal. Since I started using liquid stich on them, fill the crack in, stop hurting immediately and heals in one day.

Jem, after I made the spreadsheet to calculate feed contents, it's pretty easy to figure out. I don't follow it that exactly, but basically I've got some high protein ingredients and some low protein ingredients. As long as I keep the total ratio about the same, it's pretty easy to mix. The chickens still need some vitamin additives though, and we do give them some meat products to help with any missing nutrients.
I just dont know for myself, I think it's way to fussy plus the way we can get stuff then other times not that could be majorly bad thing if need feed and it's unaviable for me to get to mix up

Jem, yeah, it's probably cheaper to go with commercial feed. The main reason we're mixing ourselves is that most of the stuff we use is pretty much grown locally (about 85% of the feed at the moment). Somehow it feels nicer to feed something that's grown 30 miles from here than to use soy that's been grown in Argentina or China. Non GMO is also high on the list of priorities. And the commercial non GMO feeds sold here are almost double the cost of regular, and half of the ingredients in them come from half way around the world.

What phone did you get?

awesome stuff to learn... I had no idea........ but I stopped looking into the whole duck thing after the huge messy they can make......are ducks  the only ones do that or other fowl have delicate issues like that?

No clue.
The ducklings are way messier than chicks but not dusty... Ducks crap way more too lol

Moved some of the juveniles to the greenhouse and cleaned up in there, the birds are very happy... Left the big Roos (5 of them) in the coop. Found a stash of seeds in there! Ha, bunch of cool things I'd forgotten...
