I watched the rifleman as a kid...


when my daddy took me out to buy my first rifle (I got to pick it out) I picked a lever action.

The intro to that show was so cool.

Lol! Alaskan, I felt like a 'girly boy' after that, my first intro to BYC by my 10yr old girl! Lol!

I loved 'Rifleman' watched them ALL, very good shows, but my favorite lever slinger was Steve McQueen 'Wanted Dead Or Alive' , I would love to have a 'mares leg' requires a pistol permit in NY, and I haven't bothered to fill out the lengthily paperwork, background check, Judge approval yet, I have the paperwork, I MUST fill it out now! Takes six plus months!

I picked out the shortest rifle they had in that store...

I was tired of shooting my great-grandfather's rifle.... by the time I had the sights lined up the tip of the gun started to drift towards the ground because the blasted thing was so very long and heavy.

So, that is how I picked out what rifle I wanted.... the shortest and lightest lever action.

one of the reasons I preferred shooting the old family .22 LIGHT

Those are crosses that I can make on my own if I wanted to this year once I get my fly ties. Not interested.
Cheap enough though. Plus I don't trust ebay egg sellers. I've had people using my pictures on their auctions on ebay. Bunch of scammers.
