Dixie Chicks

in other news: my black Orpington is going broody again. If this duck egg thing works out maybe i'll get her some extras to hatch out. Then, as the incubated eggs hatch my Orpington will get all the babies....

Please keep your fingers crossed the person gets back to me!! I understand not everyone is constantly on the chicken forums...

deb, I'm the same way, sometimes I just have to bow out to recharge.

Oh rocks and stones, my favorites.

They are all over my house and my yard has these huge boulders hubs brought from job sites on a trailer years ago as a border in front of the fence. I have crystals I keep on tables and in bowls.

jem, stay away from that feed store LOL

My Orpington keeps trying to go broody. She is a sweet broody hen, but if the right home came along I'd place her. Also looking for homes for my 2 black Orp roosters. The alpha made it through the winter fine but the second in command lost the tips of his comb to frost bite....

maybe i'll sell them as a pair this summer. (hen and rooster). The hen will let me reach under her when broody without any attempts to bite.
