Dixie Chicks

Good morning vehve, late night for me, getting ready to bed down and see what is on Netflix.
Just pm'd my cemani/turken contact, hoping to get them soon. I was surprised to see BYC does trader feedback like Ebay, hers are positive. Good reviews. Hope to get them soon, just was hoping for warmer weather, we are -4.7C right now and all week at night, but I see its going to be 15C Friday and rain, maybe we will get rid of some of this snow after all!

I thought I'd post an update on how our previous batch of chicks is looking.

Eemeli on the left, the sire of the current chicks. The rest are from the December hatch.

This is the most developed rooster. Töyhtis is hiding behind him, she laid the eggs we hatched for the current batch. Not that she's very visible.

Flappy standing in the doorway. He made a full recovery. He has a lot less tail feathers than the others though, I think they might be picking them.

I picked up the light roo that isn't Flappy, he didn't like it at all, but I'd say the boys are weighing about 3-4 lbs at the moment. Not much to eat yet.

Okay, my opinion in waiting and seeing with Hilma was overruled, Karin took her to meet Raimo the buck again. Hilma didn't offer herself for him though, but Karin left her there for a couple of hours. She's going to try and take a peek with an ultrasound later at work. If she can get an image without shaving the bunny.
