Imagine that I had 25 to begin with, 9 of these are keepers. The tri and one of the lesser marked blacks is sold just gotta catch up with the person to sell. I sold the rest today.

$12 each is what day Olds sell for. The Ancona calls I'm working on getting eggs for. I don't have any yet.

Need I remind everybody Anconas are on the livestockconcervancy endangered list as critical, minihorse is doing a great thing by having them, raven you would help by continuing it. Much the same reason I'm going with white jersey giants rather than blacks. They are becoming almost non existint.

If people are serious about working with them I am more than willing to help out any way I can. I love the breed so much. Yes I'm breeding for show ducks myself but there are tons out there who have them simply for egg layers.

this is one of the reasons I started with anconas. My flock has already produced 27 ducklings this year and I have 4 dozen eggs developing in other people's incubators across the US plus 5 ducklings that have hatched from smaller egg orders across the US.

I can't talk hubby into ducks yet.....But he did drive me yesterday to pick up the baby chicks I bought. All the while saying "YOU KNOW I'M NOT HAPPY, RIGHT?!" I said, "Yes, I know." On the way home I thanked him for taking me and said "You know I'm Happy Right?" And he said, "Yes, I know." LOL! Marriage is funny. Good night all. I'd better get a few hours of sleep...
