Dixie Chicks

I am absolutely drenched... seems I have 2 broody Araucana bantams, they are taking turns sitting and protecting... and they kicked out all the other hens and the rooster tonight... they were all sleeping outside and a major thunderstorm hit, dumping buckets... so I went out and put them all inside... ironically, Napoleon did not object one little bit... usually he might give a warning peck for messing with his girls after dark, but he was a wet, shivering, miserable roo tonight... stood there stoically while I put up all his girls and did not make a sound when I finally put him inside too...
Nothing like a pair of girls to knock a guys ego flat, lol...

Hi, Jem! It's been a busy weekend, the chicken course kept us busy all Saturday, and yesterday we took off the rest of the corrugated plastic on the run and cleaned out all the straw from there. Also cleaned the outside of the coop a bit, it had gotten pretty dusty. Then I changed the tires on the Nissan, (ARGH!) and then it was time to go vote, a quick store run, and a long walk with the dogs. Then we sat up waiting for the result of the election, wondering what's wrong with people. One things for sure, building a new government won't be easy.

Any new pics on your build?

hahha which build I posted some pics

I saw the pics of your garden, it's looking very nice, but I haven't seen pics of the garage you're working on in a while, last pics I saw the frame was up and you had covered the roof with blue plastic.

Sam, how tall do your peppers usually grow before they start flowering/you let them flower? I'm starting to see the start of some flower buds on a few plants already, I think I'm going to pluck them off as long as the plants are still in these 4½ inch pots, and inside.
