Ok, back from Walmart. $10 for a red 250 watt heat lamp!

Lost 1 chick (long leg ohiki) because of not having a stand by lamp around like I normally do. Everyone else was cold but is starting to move about and run around again. Got everyone fed and watered for the night and now it's off to bed for me.

I just agreed to buy a set of DMrippys Marans eggs.

Maybe I can get myself a rooster that is closer to SOP and is maybe, oh, I dunno RELIABLY FERTILE would be nice too.

Not stupidity, she has super excellent stock... if you are gonna get Marans to do well there, hers would give you the best chance... js...
