I free range everyone while im.home too @BriardChickens. The only one who don't are the ohiki, Swedish flowers, and the orps that are in breeding pens.

I've swapped eggs for ducklings bfoeforw. Do it when they're just fluffed so they can learn her language and be able to understand her. Older ducklings likely will not follow or listen to her as they would be receiving care from you in the beginning.isn't it obvious? LOL![]()
I think once (if) my incubator duck eggs hatch and are dry I'll trade momma broody her eggs for ducklings and when the rest hatch as in "hey, my young ones doubled in quantity?!" Anyone ever tried this? Or am I better off to leave her with her eggs and give her the older ducklings when she hatches hers.
