you're so not eating that turkey.
Totally agree with that statement, but then I have another friend that keeps 2 turkeys as pets.

I really like how the feathering is coming in on the cream legbar chick @bamadude
it's like a deep mahogany edged with black almost like lacing....
Those are some beautiful geese, V! Our neighbor has a pond and this time of year the Canadian geese are fighting over who it belongs to. It is only big enough for one pair and they loudly claim it and sometimes there is quite the battle. I think they would be better off going elsewhere since the neighbor kids just bother the nests.BC, thanks, now I got a peek. Pretty cool, and pretty high up. I wonder why it has set up shop there, I thought geese usually nested close to shore. But what do I know, I've only seen swan nests up close. We do have nesting geese out at the cottage too, but I've never seen their nests, just the babies with their parents. The ones that nest there are Barnacle geese, later in fall the grey geese appear, about 3000 of them spend the end of summer and early autumn a few miles from our cottage so during hunting season they fly right over the cottage. We don't really have Canada geese by the cottage, but in other places in Finland there are loads of them.
