I have to use crumble, mixed age flocks and they don't carry the flock raiser in pellet...

The waste was killing me tho, so now I feed redneck style, lol... cheap and very, very little waste... gallon milk/water jugs...

how so what do you do?

do you feed pellet or crumble?

I feed crumble for the same reason as @RavynFallen . Mixed ages so just stick with crumbles that everyone can eat....except for the fermented whole grains they get each morning. New chicks don't get them but once they are a week old and out with mom, they have access to them each morning.

That Dumpling is the cutest little guy!

I guess my brinsea spoiled me. Took me half a day to get the temperature right in the hovabator.
