That's so funny Lol! I have a freeloading welsummer, hasn't laid a egg in over two months! She's getting close to loosing her head, along with the rooster, I no longer plan on breeding them. How long do you wait for a hen to lay? She laid a few dozen this winter, just a year old this month, is not moulting, and appears healthy.

I hate USPS. 2 day regular priority arrives in 2 days. Great. Have chick's shipped 1 day express and they don't show up in 1 day.

has anyone seen @Alaskan ?? starting to worry......

I am fine... too busy....

if you quote me or do the @ with my name, I get an email, and I read it... but that is all that I am reading... I am currently too swamped with the horrors of reality

stuff is breaking, have paperwork to do.... I had to shop AT A RETAIL STORE! (the used clothing store didn't have what we needed)

Did anyone try putting rice in the incubator to lower humidity?

I quit adding water , if that is what you're referring to , as I experimented with the dry hatch method and have had better success then when I kept the humidity at the so called recommended levels once the hatch starts the humidity spikes and any added water put's it over the top .........but to each what ever works
