I quit adding water , if that is what you're referring to , as I experimented with the dry hatch method and have had better success then when I kept the humidity at the so called recommended levels once the hatch starts the humidity spikes and any added water put's it over the top .........but to each what ever works

He was reffering to a problem minihorse927 and I had both been having with ambient humidity affecting the bator humidity too much... even doing total dry hatch, humidity in the bators was still closer to the 'recommended' levels instead of the 'dry hatch' levels... here in TN the humidity was so high you could drink the air, lol...
