Dixie Chicks

I quit adding water , if that is what you're referring to , as I experimented  with the dry hatch method and have had better success then when I kept the humidity at the so called recommended levels  once the hatch starts the humidity spikes and any added water put's it over the top .........but to each what ever works

Hiya! :)

He was reffering to a problem minihorse927 and I had both been having with ambient humidity affecting the bator humidity too much... even doing total dry hatch, humidity in the bators was still closer to the 'recommended' levels instead of the 'dry hatch' levels... here in TN the humidity was so high you could drink the air, lol...

Oh, got my strombergs red tuxedo quail eggs. Order 24, sent 27. 4 broken on arrival. Doubt they'll cover it since only 1 of what I ordered was broken. The 2 were just cracked. I nail polished those and set then anyway. 0ut them right in the window of the Bator so I can watch for seeping.

could she be stressed over something?

I doubt it, seems fine just no eggs, all the others are laying like crazy. Maybe I need a chicken whisperer? It kinda sucks, I know they all taste the same but I'm partial to brown eggs, always only had brown eggs, and hers were really cool. I've got cartons full of white, green and olive, where's the durn dark spotted brown! Might havta wait until the langshans and JG chicks that have not arrived yet start laying to get brown eggs.
