Yep.... Except that they got here SUPER fast... The same seller sent chicks to mini... Mailed both at the same time... I have mine and mini doesn't have hers yet.

So being sent to Alaska didn't make them sit in the mail too long.... Maybe they tied the box to the outside of the plane.

The rest are lively though Alaskan, that's awesome! Actually not bad odds if you read the reviews of most hatchery deliveries even in state, sometimes can be horrible. I think it helps when you have a good quantity sent, most bad reviews on hatcheries for dead chicks come from people only ordering a few. I ordered 21 from Meyers and had no casualties, all did good. SandHill will not send less than 25 per shipment. Still WAITING!

don't know which emicon is most appropriate, for still hoping and almost giving up.........

They really are not 'jerking my chain' I knew what I was in for when I ordered from them. I just figured when I was told May 5, it was a done deal... don't have a problem with them being late cause nothing ever works out as planned and they said the next orders before me were for only a few apiece so there is still a chance, they didn't tell me sorry no chance...but if it doesn't happen...

It's the iffy part that is frustrating... you made your order in their timeframe, just is irritating that you might not get them... keeping fingers crossed!!

Good morning all! Sorry about the chick losses @Alaskan . I changed my avatar again for you! LOL!

@minihorse927 , sorry you lost one as well. The weather just went from winter to one week of spring and now it's flat out summer!!! 90s and humid. Yuck. Was that a BR or cuckoo maran in the pic you posted? We had a cuckoo maran chick die the other day. Seemed as if she got sour crop.....??? Never seen them get it so young (2months). I am horrible with sour crop. Tried every kind of suggested treatment other than surgery, but always they die.

So we are down to 145 chickens now. After the roosters find their way to freezer camp in a few months, we should be under a hundred. Well, I need to get busy. Gotta make sure everyone has food & water before I head off to work.

@vehve , about the running or stair climbing, I could do the stairs fine. 2 mile run or even jog, not happening without something breaking or pulling or going into cardiac arrest. I can walk that far though. I stand most of the day at my job. So luckily my legs are not in super bad shape. I'm just fluffy.
