Poor mallard hen.

Decided to let broody hen set even though I don't need more chicks. Two days she stayed on them even at night. Yesterday she switched nests! Stupid chicken get out of here! Today she's back on new eggs ughh! Give me those eggs and get out! She was not happy.

Wonder if I'll get 3 tomorrow? Guess I need to get pics of each little hen individually and that way I can have someone tell me which color males to keep.

From what I've learned, you'll always have to keep an eye on size or they'll start going smaller again. Keep selecting the larger birds as breeders. Is your aim for jumbos?
