DH wants jumbo Wisconsin quail. I just know it will end up being much more work for me and DD.

They are very cute though. DH says they are tasty.

@minihorse927 I tried taking quail pictures for you. This is in my younger group.

I like the light colouring in its chest. As you can see, I was successful. Until one jumped out of the cage and into the Coop. I dropped the phone into the cage, closed it and picked up the quail at the other end right between the turkeys and some chickens.
In the meantime the other 5 quail were having a hoot pecking at the phone

your reddish one is rosetta. The one looking at the camera is a pharoah, and is a girl. Rosetta must be vent sexed. Pharoah sex by color.

oh, do a favor. Travel to ohio, I'll meet you somewhere and give you eggs to smuggle back across but you have to smuggle me across blue, silver, charcoal, and any other blue and silver variety coturnix! I want some but they're $100 for 15 eggs in the US.

Lady Grey thinks she is a cat... she loves to bill at the bell hanging from their scratching post... no biggie... but then she ripped off a piece of the carpeting and tried to eat it...

We just spent 10 minutes chasing a duck through the house, carpet chunk in her bill and tail wagging the whole entire time...
