No... I really don't want to buy and open another bag of quail food. I can only get their feed in 50lbs bags. So, a dozen little quail take a long time to finish one bag! It would take them for ever to finish 2 bags. HahaInteresting thought... but do you want to give up that feed?
I would agree with this. Have to make sure no holes big enough for escape and can't leave any door ls open. Probably have to put mesh doors across the entrances if you need them open while the quail are in there. They do good I'm the cold if they have a dry heavily bedded spot to nest down intoOnce released you might never see them again... can they escape through vents or open doors?
I'd their well being would depend on temperatures in the greenhouse during the summer and winter. I don't think they do well in sub zero temperatures.
They'd probably make good bug control, cleaning up of seeds, etc.
