@minihorse927 wish I woulda got it on video, but Lady Grey was a hoot last night... found a huge leaf bug on the porch and she wanted to eat it sooo bad... grabbed it and and it buzzed and screeched in her bill and she tried to run away from it but wouldn't let it go!!
This went on for a while, but she did end up eating it... not sure if she ate it cuz it tasted good or if it was cuz it ticked her off...

Funny story for you, the shop cat brought in a live bird during our morning meeting on Friday which he promptly thought belonged ONTO my desk. Immediately I hurry over to shoo him off. Unfortunately he had released the bird, so it flew up and sat on the top edge of a poster that's covering a door behind my desk. Shop cat sneaks up, sits on the edge of my desk and does the whole bud wiggle as if trying to decide on when to leap for the bird. Sadly the tape on the top corner gave out which caused the bird to fall down. So the cat got the bird after all. Just too funny watching a cat trying to decide if it was a smart idea to jump at a door.

Ooo, be careful... the day I got a concussion I got heat exhaustion too... cool wet cloths on bottoms of your feet and back of neck help...

There was also a locust she went after too... she threw it across the porch though...

Briard, love the cat incident... I had one bring a blackbird in the house and let it go once... ended up with 2 cats, 2 kids, and a dog chasing it around the house... was crazy, but bird managed to survive and get out, lol...

How do you'll get to be haopy with where you are at... Instead of all sad that you can't go back 20 or 30 years and hit the reset button???

I would love to hit the reset button, but I'd miss my kids (well the good parts lol).
I'm looking forward to retirement, hopefully...

Your either are or your not (happy with where you are) upside is everything can change. And it's largly in how you look at it...
I can look at my 20s and say I wasted it or I look and say I took my time growing up...
