Double yokers hatch very very rarely, but some do hatch.

There are a couple of people who specialize in this on BYC.

I am not planning on deliberately hatching them out. What's important is that DH said "we should hatch" more eggs. haha Came out of his mouth.

I have seen those bad stats about hatching out double yolkers so would rather fill that hole in the incubator with an egg that will stand a much higher chance to hatch.

I keep pointing at my halo, but apparently it's being held up by 2 horns....so DH says.

The house duck has no diapers

I am getting tired if it in the house... We have started trying to at least kick it out during the day... Get it acclimated to outside.

At first I put it with three ducks just slightly older... But they beat her up, sigh.

She is now put in a cage up against the cage with the three ducks....

Wish me luck, I am worried she will be in the house until April.

Briard, I had a halo held up by my horns too... but it kept getting scratched, dented and rusty from throwing it at people... apparently it didn't get returned the last time I threw it either...

@hennible that is a brilliant idea. Will you need a heater in your water pail? My brain is already trying to decide on where to put a crate half in the coop.

119 days until we move, can't wait until I don't have to think about adding heat to my coops. Another big concern is that I think there will be more lay off's here. Last night DH and I discussed at length about what we would do if I got laid off. At this point anyone should be concerned
