Sam, I know you're only taking out the loss your team suffered on me, it's okay. Was one heck of a game though, a thriller right through to the end. When the best team in the world is playing a pretty good team that is also hosting the tournament, the atmosphere is usually pretty good. And 11 goals in a game is amazing. Canada's week spot was that the players were a bit hot headed, they took a lot of unnecessary penalties, and the Canadian goalie wasn't on point yesterday. Lucky for us, for once we managed to take advantage of that. But it was a constant fight for control of the game, the teams kept taking the lead from the other one Somewhere around the last 5 minutes of the game Finland managed to get a 5 on 3 going due to Canada's penalty taking, and took the lead with 6-5, after that I was biting my nails until the end. Tomorrow, another classic will be played when Finland meets Sweden. That will be another tough one.

Good to hear the surgery went well, keeping fingers and toes crossed here.

And Al, there's something wrong with you, the Sweater is horribly ugly. But it's oh so warm.

I thought the sweater pic was appropos. It looks so, well, Finnish! I think the photo would be ideal for promoting Finland's winter activities.... like bunny groping.

Vehve, The bunny is big. Is that a big pet or a big meal?

It is very cold now. I miss the warmth. I think as I get older the cold gets colder.

Hubby is building bigger houses for several of my chicken runs. I still prefer the Euro method with smaller houses. I have promised NOT to keep adding varieties and I promise not to Keep expanding existing flock. We needed a bit larger houses to encourage them to have more inside time,... As if! My chickens go out and wander araound insnow storms. About my promising not to expand my existing chicken population,... Poor guy, he believed me! It really is not me doing it. It's the girls doing it.

@ApiaryandAviary She's one of the breeders, so neither really. But she should pop out some soon to be meals in about a week.

Pic time! The babies are about 4 weeks now.








After the bunnies got some yard time I had to chase them back into the cage. They would have preferred staying out.

It's amazing how well the little ones handle cold already too, it's about 15F outside at the moment and they don't mind it at all.
