Mini, yeah, don't postpone, those get nasty quick if she's already showing signs and has a fever. It's one of the more routine big invasive surgeries though, and they tend to recover pretty well. But getting older female dogs fixed is a good idea, the older they get, the bigger the risk becomes.

We had a bunny with a limp today, so Inkeri was taken in for a check. No signs of any external trauma, but Karin said she could definitely feel babies in there. She got some meloxicam for the pain, and out she went again, but not before posing with me in my horrible sweater for a photo.

Baby bunnies are drinking out of the water bottle, eating from the feeder, and Hilma was just sharing a carrot with them.

Sorry to you Canucks, seems like your boys got a bit beat in the U20 ice hockey world championships. And looks like we've got a great new generation of players growing up.

Shelby is out off surgery and alive, but weak. He said the prognosis looks good but the bad news is it was not an infection. It was an ovarian tumor weighing over 4 pounds

Poor baby. But a tumor is not infection I can imagine infection would be much harder to deal with.

Holy s***! That's big! Very glad Shelby made it through surgery... :fl for benign and her road to recovery is smooth...

Felix it is to bad the Canadians are out, but your sweater is far worse than that game...
Ha ha! Gosh that's a bad sweater...

Glad Shelby is out of surgery :fl
I had a cat survive surgery (and go on to continue to be a giant pain in my a**) after the removal of a two lb tumor, she was younger though about 6 at the time.
