It's one of the more routine big invasive surgeries though, and they tend to recover pretty well. But getting older female dogs fixed is a good idea, the older they get, the bigger the risk becomes.
We had a bunny with a limp today, so Inkeri was taken in for a check. No signs of any external trauma, but Karin said she could definitely feel babies in there. She got some meloxicam for the pain, and out she went again, but not before posing with me in my horrible sweater for a photo.
