Here's one you might like Alaskan, was listening to Grant Rogers on my way home, guy my Grandfather used to play music with, my grandfather is the guitar on all the songs with no lyrics, just fiddle and guitar on his records.
Guy at work who was his neighbor when he was a kid about freaked out when I told him my family was friends with him, 'do you have any of his records?!!" My mom has the originals, 'can you record them?!!' I already have them on CD. He just returned it, dumb computer I couldn't get to burn him one. Came to a song on the way home called 'A place called Hell' verse says, "my wife she bought some chickens a couple hundred or more, but still we buy all the eggs we eat down by the country store" Lol!
Still can't find the video of Grant with Pete Seeger I saw on youtube, like it disappeared. Found out more though, Pete Seeger had a TV show called 'Rainbow Quest' Grant was on episode 13, tons of other vids on youtube of Rainbow Quest, can't find that one though...

Duck folks:
I picked up my muscovey eggs today. I was told there are
probably khaki campbell eggs mixed it. This will be my first attempt trying to hatch anything other than chicks

Looks like Finnish hockey might have a bright future. The U20 team took the world championship yesterday, after quite a nailbiter. Finland took the lead with 2 minutes remaining, but Russia evened things 7 seconds from the end. That meant an additional period played sudden death style. At the end, Kapanen finnished the game with a beautiful goal.

and apparently the meat is top notch too. I think after the move I'll contact the farm and see if i can come visit.

I just love the videos I've seen of them playing, very animated animals. I think I'd be satisfied just to play with a little one lol. I'll stick to my small birds for meat and eggs. Hopefully I'll fire up the incubator soon, 3 chickens just doesn't cut it. I'll be getting hatching eggs from a friend near by shortly.

Krista wants ducks on our pond. I decided on Muscoveys. Found eggs. Went to pick them up and the lady said khacki campbells were mixed in and gave me extras.
