Dixie Chicks

I'm bored... Need spring to get its butt in gear. Half a pack of bacons a serving right?
I'd say full pack

Spring would be nice, I'd like it to be April, everybody laying again, etc.

Getting my behind into gear and start packing this weekend. Summer clothes and a few odd things already are, but now into the true packing spirit.. 7 weeks left

:sick to packing... Total barf.

As to perching Muscovy... I have to trim the wings of my Muscovy, every time that I haven't is when I have lost them.

With wings trimmed (I do both wings, the first four or so flight feathers of both wings), the girls can still hop up to their shelf that is about a foot and a half to two feet high, the boy can jump up about a foot max.

They can still climb right up and over a chicken wire fence.

I think I am packing all but the essentials. Leaving one plate, one set of cuttlery, one glass, one pot one pan, one lunch container and the stuff I need for making dog food out.
I have 6 weekends to pack (visiting my brother on one), so lots of time... I think...

7 weeks left, i keep telling myself

This thing is my broody pen, they like the top and the middle which is open right now.

My scovies will perch on my roof, in the coop they seem happy on the top tear of my broody pen, about 6 feet high, the rafters sit at 8 feet the peek at about 12 or so. They also enjoy the level of the broody pen that is only 36" off the ground. The rafters are too narrow for them I think, so they don't go up there. It might be differnt if I clipped their wings...
You can dry hatch ducks apparently.

Ok The place I want to be keeping them will be netted. So good. I know they fly really well but I was hoping my coop design would be appropriate for them without modification except for feed and nesting. do they get along with chickens?

It is wild how well the girls fly, the young drake is impressive too. I may have to clip them. They do fine with my chickens, they're not friends but no problems.
