with a slice of ham not the otherstuff.... Or better yet a crab patty.

Me needs to dust off the blender to make hollindaise...... Soo good on Asparagus, or country potatoes, or Crab cakes, or omelettes.... or by the spoonfull.

I thought all you ate up there was whale, seal and salmon, shouldn't that cover the fat intake? Of course, all the lean moose might be a problem...

Yeah, she's found out that her whaling harpoon comes in handy around chicken processing time, or if one of them escapes.

Eggs benedict rock, I prefer it with lots of bacon and some fresh spinach or cress to help cut the pound of butter. ;) And yes, I too slurp up any hollindaise that looks lonely.

V you are correct of course, that is all we eat up here, whale, seal, salmon, and moose. :D ...... Have you ever smelled seal while it is being cooked? Un.for.get.a.ble

I hear walrus tastes like Oyster and beef.....

Seal is about the most disgusting meat I've ever had. Bear I haven't tried, but I hear it's delicious.

Bear, like beef, but coarser grained, not as in tough, just bigger more open grain to the meat, looser marbling? different. I like it. Have ate it many times through the yrs, never had a bad cut, roast steak or otherwise. My youngest brother and father both harvested bear a few yrs ago, had me make them up some breakfast sausage out of some of it, turned out excellent!! Stuffed in sheep casings and some loose for patties. Gave me some steaks, stew meat and roasts for the trouble, all yummy. Other brother got a big one with bow last yr, said it was the most disgusting thing he ever tried to eat, heard this from other people that have got them, don't know, a lot might have to do with how they processed them? Time? Temperature outside and speed of processing? Age of bear? Don't know...
