Dixie Chicks

Still put the frame together before the sun went down, the thing was massive. Had to screw it apart and shorten the feet by a foot, now it's still pretty high, but a bit more tolerable. We'll have to carefully rethink it's placement. No pic now, it was pretty dark by the time I got it reassembled. My frame structure seems really sturdy, although the thing is a lot lighter than I expected, I'm going to have to anchor it to the ground really properly.

I'm going to be looking for another one to build a hoop coop chicken tractor this summer for hopefully a bunch of capons. Wife's going to order hovabator tomorrow so I have it before we get back from vacation last week of April. Glad I waited, they now come with IncuTurn for same price as before with regular turner. It rolls the eggs, holds 42 chicken eggs and change nothing for other size eggs, works with quail to goose.

Hey, haven't been here in a while!

Ducks are settling in after the move, but not a single egg yet. I need to hatch!!! Ha-ha

Chickens started a few weeks ago and then gave up again. So I pulled the eggs out of the fridge and started to incubate those. The shells are too thick and dark so I can't even tell if they are developing. Ugh

I nees to incubate more... Haha
