It's a trampoline underneath. The frame is cut in half, and old safety net supports inserted into the legs give the length. Wood frame and raisers on the bottom, 16 mm electrical pipe on a curve along the way as roof supports. At the ends, I shoved drywall plugs into the old spring holes in the frame and attached 16mm pipe to those. The plastic clamps on to that pipe, and is just folded in under the frame on the bottom.

@vehve so glad you started your trampoline greenhouse build. You killed 'two birds with one stone' at my house, mom gets rid of it, and I get a greenhouse I always wanted, never heard of 're-purposing' them for greenhouses, eye opener. So glad you've done it, I was going to use , the red neck I am, duct tape to attach the plastic, think I'll go with something more to what you used...
We had a awesome winter, I was still picking fresh Kale in December, Jan, deer mowed it down....Last two yrs were the coldest I've ever had to go through here so no complaints this winter. 50s-70, when this hit us, teens at night, ten F, for a week, can't complain, better than the last two yrs anyway. I almost planted our peas and spinach a couple weeks ago.
Don't do good with wine, but I love this freaking song!

Seems like my sheep have no respect for our page wire fence. They have now learned to push against the fence which breaks the staples (don't ask, hubby left the good fence nails in AB). Then the sheep just push the fence up and crawl out underneath.
Just retrieved half of my sheep from the neighbors lawn AGAIN and temporarily locked them into the tiny and empty duck run. If I was to try and put them in with the not escaped girla they would make their way out too.
So mad at these stupid sheep... Don't get sheep!!

but they are soo tasty!

So you all freaked me out about people dying from bronchitus and such. I went back to dr last night after work. She put me on a stronger anti biotic, more steroids, different cough meds. Hopefully this will kick it quickly.

Weather here has been nasty too. 22F last night. Snowy and high winds. Hoping the best for the little chicks in the coop. I won't know their status until I get home from work today. They are fully feathered and I put more straw in their little coops last night. Each little coop has 13-14 chicks in it, so they should keep each other warm as well.

Minihorse, if you stop in, I want you to know King Tut is doing great, but I need to somehow train that crazy rooster to stop running after cars. (Rooster dog).

If u could I'd run high tension wire through the bottom and top or the what I suppose is a page wire , weave it through and tighten it , that way they can't lift it ........but not surewhat type of wire you're using

That is a brilliant idea! Thanks, I'll run it past hubby this weekend. I am also going to see if the hardware store has the good fencing nails..

Did you read about my goat ordeal on the old folks home?

It has finally thawed enough that the kids were able to cobble the fence back together on our old horse pasture.

It is a great fence, with quality fat electric rope, on almost two acres.

However, dorky one and dorkette two refused to be happy with a grassy pasture that includes a stand of trees and a few bushes. They kept insisting on barreling through the fence while being shocked.

I had the kids (human children) make a pretend kid (human child) in the middle of the pasture, now named the "calm goat". Again But it has worked. The goats have been in the pasture all day now, with no more running out. They will not wander very far from the "calm goat"


Goat people told me that goats are fine with electric... Yeah right, whatever.

Ha-ha, Thats too funny! I should make a mock up of my dog, my sheep are terrified of him.
