I've been thinking about how to store our fresh eggs and I really enjoy the idea of a skelter (egg slide, whatever you'd like to call it) but I don't want it on the counter taking up space. I was thinking of making some sort of egg skelter shelf for a bare wall we have in the kitchen. I've done some google and pinterest searches but was wondering how everyone here stores their eggs if they aren't storing in cartons/in the fridge?

What a great idea!!!! Here’s mine but it sits on the counter!

I've seen someone make an egg rack out of 2 rails(copper pipe).
Something like that could be mounted to the wall.

I think I just found my next Pinterest project! Thanks for the idea, great post!

I was thinking of making something like this but then wanted the ability of the skelter to know exactly what egg to use next. I guess we could always work from the top and leave a space between old/new eggs as we use/add them

This is what I was thinking of, but you'd need brackets to mount it to the wall.
Could make the pipe ends fit into the the mounting bracket.

You could mount a small shelf that would fit the wire skelter and put the skelter on it.
