DIY Plucker - looking for info

My buddy pushed me over the edge on this one faster than I was ready. We had 9 roosters to kill and he started on a barrel plucker and I bought the 150 plucker fingers and made the spinning plate and shaft and all. He had a 1/4hp motor and it worked for a test run with a basketball, but the first rooster bogged the motor down.

I need to upgrade the motor and looking to see who had made one, What HP motor are you running, what pulley ratio do you have. If you have a sold kit what motor is on it and possible pulley ratio?

I got a CAD template for the spinning plate I will post up later for others to copy.

These should be the PDF's and you make your you select print Actual size. The plate is 22" across and the inside of the barrel we started with was 23"

It’s hard to envision it from the 9 files separately. This is s pic off my phone of them being put together to be the template
