I think being above ground it will probably drain pretty good. With the tank I have in the ground it clogs up so bad because they fill it with mud from their bills. . it's not just their muck. Plus I get pine shavings in it all the time and they even like to throw rocks in it.![]()
Mine gets clogged too! Usually with feathers or leaves and dirt and poop. I almost wanna take the drain catch out... but then id be worried id have a clog in the pipe. Although i can stick the hose down there to dislodge it... anyway, mine is an above-ground black plastic fish pond with a bathtub type drain and a rubber plug. Its not very pretty, but thats what happens when your dad tries to do something nice for you (and ruins the integrity of your expensive fish pond lol
). Ill have to post pictures later. Its nothing fancy though.
