DIY Thread - Let's see your "Inventions".

leahsmom thank you, but that idea kinda worries me with toxicity possiblites. I going to play with the hook idea n will let everyone know, Lowes workers starting to call me by name.

If it has a place to attach something to under the funnel you can make a 2 to 4 pronged hook out of thick wire and twist it so it will stay with a hole for a rope or maybe a bungee would be better and stick the small loop of hook through top of (small side) of funnel so it hooks over the sides of the funnel then use a bungee and run it through the handle on waterer and stick the S hooks in the hole you left in the hook holding your funnel may be a bit difficult to put together at first but if you have a good bungee it should keep it in place.

Put a large funnel on it-point end up.
To hold it in place...if the waterer has a handle, get a long zip tie or several short ones and a big washer (one that won't go through the end of the funnel. feed the zip tie through the funnel around the handle and throught the washer on top of the funnel. pull it tight and it should keep the funnel on.

Make a teepee out of garden stakes & place over the water, suspend the funnel over the waterer, levitation. The latter would require extreme & continual concentration on your part. Could prove to be mentally exhausting for an extended period.
