Well do they? I am looking at getting Africans which I think lay white eggs but can't find anything yet that spells it out. I'd rather have non-white eggs, but if all breeds lay white then I know which breed to go with. Thanks!

I've been researching since I posted and I can't find anything other than white either, but it rarely specifies egg color anyway. I love the look of the Africans, but now I'm really torn because with Pilgrims you can tell male or female very easily and they are friendly. With Chinese Whites breed well, lay the most, are noisy (a plus for us), and forage well. Ugh, I always do this! Decisions decisions...

I have 10 Africans and I absolutely love them (so I'm a little biased!). They are super friendly and reeeeeeally talkative. I have one little girl who chatters to me nonstop. Mine have foraged well; I just supplement with pellets.
