Do all my new chickens have marecks?

I just spent more than I intended on a big batch of birds at auction. The first thing I noticed after getting them home was that one bird had gray eyes. Is she doomed? What about the other birds in her cage and the other birds at auction in the other cages/boxes? Her cage had all open air sides. Should I alert the auction? What can be done for the other birds that came with her?

She may have had an eye infection, or malnutrition.

Do you know if the birds were vaccinated for mareks? Just wondering if it could be an isolated case of vaccine failure if it does turn out to be that. If these birds are vaxed then the others might be fine but my understanding is that they would then all could be carriers if that one bird does have it.

But you can get other things that will cause the eye to look funny and/or dull the color. This has a good pic as an example:

It could just be the particular photo but in yours it looks like the outside of the iris is weird.

I'm no expert in this domain, just have read a lot of threads here on mareks.

That does look like possible ocular Mareks. Mareks is very contagious and spread through dust and dander of the chicken. If it is Mareks they have been exposed already, and so have other birds they were near. These birds should not be near any that you already have. The only way to diagnose it is through a necropsy on a bird that dies, or with a blood test that certain labs will do on live birds. You can collect the blood at home on materials they send you, and send it in. Here is a link for one lab:
