Do chickens have a sense of humor?

Our head rooster Falstaff has developed an odd whistling that sounds like a leaky pipe. He does not have any kind of blockage in his throat; he appears to do this for amusement and has taught the other roosters to imitate him. He also sings the "egg song" and seems to encourage the other roosters to do this too. Does anyone have experience with this behavior?

Not sure about the whistling thing, but roosters like to sing the egg song along with hens...I often mistake it for a hawk attack...but am learning that its just a hen laying an egg
