Hi, we are thinking about getting one or two peacocks. Do you know if ducks and peacocks would get along with one another?

Ooh! Peafowl! (Peacocks are the males) I want some peafowl, but don't have enough land.

I once worked in a garden, a sort of fancy Botanical one and there was a lake full of eels, nice plants an trees all around and peacocks or lier birds the ones with the awesome tails that look like eyes. And also ducks too.. they walked around and done there own thing, there was a lot of space for them all though.

I love lyrebirds!
Sorry my mistake when I said lyrebirds I meant peacock 🦚 I have seen wild lyrebirds they sure are beautiful things aswell but I thought they were called the same thing, peacocks (googled it). This is the bird I'm talking about. The all white ones are absolutely stunning too.

Oh! It happens to me too! A few days ago I asked what a baby duckling was called 🤷‍♀️

How much land do they need?
So, I don't actually know... But our neighbors next door have 5 acres and so do we. They have one peacock. He flies over to our place regularly, and goes to the other neighbor's 5 acres as well. I'd say this guy uses about 15 acres. But I believe he is looking for a girlfriend? I'm guessing. You'll probably get more accurate information from the peafowl people.

He sometimes perches in trees above my ducks' aviary or sits on their barn and watches them. He might be less interested if he had his own peafriends.
