Do ducks eat less in colder weather?

My runners are piggies for sure but nothing like my pekins. Just like the girls they were named after, they are always eating! Even if it is salad. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.

When it's colder I find there are less wild birds and less small critters hitting up my food bowls, so while my flock may be eating more I'm feeding the wildlife less.
