I have found roundworms in the poop in my laying chickens' pens and plan to treat the flock with Wazine. Do I need to treat my ducks, geese, and guinea hens as well?

I sure hope not, it would be an enormous challenge to keep them confined for the day to drink just their treated water. They are accustomed to free-ranging the yard all day long. They tolerate being penned overnight, but clamor to get out once the sun has risen. The ducks will fly over their fence if I don't open their gate fast enough.

Someone is giving me some Ivomec pour-on, I had planned to use that on the chickens a few weeks after they get the Wazine. Could I just use that on the waterfowl & guineas? Or do I need to treat them at all for worms?

I appreciate your imput on this matter, thank you!

From my experience treating other animals for worms, its best to only treat those animals that are showing a worm problems. I don't know if there are ways you can test the poop for worms, but that would be what I'd do. This involves getting poop from each individual, basically watching them until they poop, picking up the poop in a glove, and then writing their name on it.
