Do English Orpingtons go broody?

I am looking for hens that go broody often. I've heard that buff orpingtons go broody. When I was looking for buff orpingtons on KSL classifieds, I found some English Orpingtons. I couldn't find anything on google saying that english orpingtons go broody. Does anyone know if english orpingtons go broody? Thanks!

SILKIES. SILKIES. SILKIES. All birds can go broody though. I have never heard of orpingtons being broody

I have two that are broody right now. All orps go broody.
Makes no difference if English or American.

They certainly do go broody, but each girl will have her own personality. Individuals may never go broody at all. Others will try all year long.

I suggest Cochins if your environment is suited to feathered feet. Also, Silkies are undeniably the. best. sitters. and mothers. EVER.
