Do I have a largefowl silkie, or is she just fat?

Yeah I'm in the U.S. I'm not sure about his weight yet, he's been too nice and letting everyone eat before he does. I will post a picture with measurement later. That's a photo of him a few months younger then what he is now. He's at 7 months now, and pretty tall.

I just did a little search on LF Silkies, and they're actually not much bigger then the silkies here in the U.S. The large fowl silkies are mid-sized which is medium. Which are also the original, White Chinese silkies. I included that last part because I love my fuzz balls with legs.

If you're in the states then you just have a regular silkie.
I agree Europe's LF silkie aren't a lot bigger.
Poor breeding over here has increased ours past their ideal size.

That's incorrect.
These are pulled from the standards from both countries.

In the UK, large fowl silkies should weigh around 4lb (64oz) for the male and 3lb (48oz) for the females and bantams should weigh around 600g (21oz) for males and 500g (18oz) for females.

The American Standard of Perfection calls for males that are 36 ounces (1 kg), and females that are 32 ounces (910 grams)

Correction, that is on Wikipedia which is deamed an unreliable site, because anybody can go in and change what you think is incorrect, or change information.

Its obvious that not only are we not on the same page we're not even in the same book.
And I don't see the point anymore.
