These are chicks from my first hatch. Random breeding between BO and SLW roosters over BO, SLW, and Amberlink hens. Did I luck up and get two purebreds?

I'm gonna guess cockerel (seems like its feathering slower, kinda a red comb for this age), and I'm hesitant about the lacing pattern. We should be able to tell you if they're purebred once they're older : ) The buff one is at the very least buff but I don't think I can tell you for sure if it's a pure buff orp! Can't wait to see them all grown up <3View attachment 2567312Purebred SLW? Roo or pullet?
Based on what I have read on genetics, the SLW should be a purebred. If the BO rooster was his father and SLW hen his mother, then it would have been a red sex link with red/buff with the "wild" pattern as a chick. He was typical color of a SLW chick. If the SLW roo was father and BO hen or Amberlink hen was mother, then he wouldn't have the yellow shanks because white shanks from the BO or A:L hens would have been dominant. I know genetics is more complicated than that, but it is all so interesting.I'm gonna guess cockerel (seems like its feathering slower, kinda a red comb for this age), and I'm hesitant about the lacing pattern. yes, I read if wings are mostly black then it will be a pullet so far so good. They do seem to (at least physically) look purebred. And the buff is a hen, the SLW is most likely a pullet, but don't rule out male yet.
How do these chicks look now? These are chicks from my first hatch. Random breeding between BO and SLW roosters over BO, SLW, and Amberlink hens. Did I luck up and get two purebreds?
