just to answer a question you had - anemia isn't a shortage of blood, it is a shortage of red blood cells (still same volume, just less red blood cells)

Good question. They were provided with lots of water and the temps weren't too high but he was in with his 2 other buddies. Maybe they didn't let him drink. I looked at him again yesterday before I put him in the freezer and he still looks good.
