Hi all! I'm planning my coop design and I'm wondering... do I need to close the coop door every night if the run is super secure?

The coop will be attached to a run and we'll be taking all the precautions to make sure both the coop and the run are safe from predators. So can I leave the coop door open (the one that is attached to the run) or is that a bad idea?

I do. I only close it when it is very cold and windy out at night to reduce blowing in the chicken door.
