Do I really have Turkey Chicks?

This saddens me. Not they aren’t friendly or anything. We’ve handled all of them daily. Some like picked up some just like to be close by. But we were so excited about Turkeys!

When should I expect to tell if one or both are not hens?

On the bright side though they take up less space you should be able to to tell the gender when they are 4-5 weeks old

We got our newest additions to our backyard flock on May third. 8 Crimson Comets and 2 “supposed” White Turkeys. I am wondering if they are actually Chickens or some other variety of Turkey. Can someone please help me possibly figure this out?

They look like ranger type chickens.
