Hawks are bold little suckers, too! I was only a dozen or so feet away when one nabbed my little Rue. It's been over a year, now, but the effects are still around. The pullet right next to her, now a grown hen, is too timid to venture out of the coop and run, now. It's apparently frightened her for life. Poor baby!During the day, I mostly worry about hawks. Know they can grab a bird in seconds and be gone.
