DO NOT try to "organize" your photo-toilet account

ooops I mean photobucket........
I thought..since I have almost 1000 images on there...maybe its time to put them into albums so that when we are posting it will be easier.........DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE!

I just spent 6 hours fixing our original coop thread, and our coop page, along with our Gopher-Bator page and if I feel like it is of value to anyone I might continue to fix other posts me have made since NONE of them have pictures now unles I have gone in and edited EVERY SINCE picture address on every post, on every thread.

So just saying...dont do it...unless you are just starting to put images on photo-toilet then start out being organized...dont do it later....it messed up not only my threads here, but our myspace page, our Farm webpage, and the kids myspace pages.

I should have known it would do that but I wasnt thinking...........dang!

You should have told me, I would have had you upload all the pics to BYC or send them to me to upload to BYC. That way you never have to worry about us using your photobucket bandwidth and not worry about organization or loosing your pics!!!

(BTW, we'd love to see all our members use the byc upload tool when they can for pics that they use in their BYC pages).

Tiff, if you want, I can help you to copy all the pics to BYC's server. Lemme know

Wow! That's good to know. My computer has been acting up, it turns on only after like 15 try's. So before it broke completely I uploaded ALL my pics on my computer to photobucket so I wouldn't lose them. I was thinking about doing what you did, but now I will not!! Thanks!!!

If the picture is too big, such as my 4-5mb photos, the BYC upload thing tells me it's in the wrong format. It just doesn't like 3000pixel wide photos so I just made a function in photoshop to downsize pics to an upload folder that shrinks them to 800pix wide prior to upload. Makes it much faster too.

huh??? what??? I thought I was a computer wiz and I dont know what BYC uploader you are talking about??? DUH! what am I missing out on, and on top of it....when I went to FIX ALL MY PICS it took forever, I had to hand type in all the addresses, and then when I went to save from full screen I couldnt and it took 10 min to toggle back from full screen....you would have thought I was a total nut case....running back and forth screaming at the computer "Oh dont you dare make me do this all again".
