Do quails molt?

A simple question - do they molt? I have a hen that looks like crap. She is eating and acts perfectly normal but she quit laying and looks terrible.

I am having the same issues. Our coturnix hens have all of a sudden stopped laying. They are only about 10-12 wks old. They were laying an egg a day. Now nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Are they old enough to start a molt? Thank You in advance.

my conturnixs did the same thing all at once.all 16 quit laying with in 2 days of each other. don't worry they will start laying again mine took about 4 weeks it will seem a lot longer. LOL

I hope so!! Either that, or my quails are having a crazy party that I don't know about every night! Every morning there are feathers EVERYWHERE!!!!!

If I'm correct since fall is swinging around (Canada for me) its going to be molting season soon and than winter which they won't lay unless you force them to, so mine are
laying they're last couple weeks of eggs

Yep....molting season is upon us! Feathers everywhere...like someone defeathered a bunch of quail around here!! LOL
