My quails have sun light and I was wondering which one isms better, or is it just fine. And I know they need 14 hours of light anyways. But thanks.

Sunlight is best when possible, artificial light is normally used in winter months to extend the laying season by artificially lengthening the days, or if you have such a predator problem in your area that the birds don't get much light in their housing.
