Do roosters take dust baths?

My rooster takes dust baths a lot especially when it is hot or rainy outside!

Mine don't seem to do it as often as the hens, but they do like to join in....

My younger cockerels are too chicken to join in with the mature hens

My roosters seem to dust bath when not too much is going on.When the hens are dust bathing or foraging,he generically watch the skies,or preen his feathers and relax, they do not seem to dust bath nearly as much as hens do.

I was wondering if roosters take dust baths. I have never owned one so i don't if they are different from hens. I would just like to know. Thanks
Roosters take dust baths the same as hens do. Chickens dust bathe to keep away mites and lice and keep up their feathers so since a rooster has feathers, he would need to dust bathe too.
